Suriye diplomatik pasaportlarına vize muafiyeti

Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın imzasıyla Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan karar, Suriye Arap Cumhuriyeti diplomatik pasaportlarına sahip vatandaşlara Türkiye’ye seyahatlerinde vize muafiyeti tanımaktadır. Karar 28 Eylül 2026’da yürürlüğe girmiştir.

Under the decision, Syrian diplomats may travel to Turkey for official assignments, transit stops, or tourism trips that do not exceed 90 days within any 180‑day period without needing a visa. The regulation applies to all holders of diplomatic passports, irrespective of the purpose of their travel, and is part of a new step to strengthen diplomatic relations between Turkey and Syria.

The regulation was adopted pursuant to Article 18 of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection and is effective immediately upon publication.
